Don’t get an elaborate online strategy

Real estate agents do not need an elaborate online marketing strategy.  You are an expert and to best demonstrate that you are going to communicate your knowledge and experience directly to the consumer.  They need to be with you and talk to you.  It is then that they will understand you are the bridge between what they want and how to get it. 

So many agents put a value on capturing a “false” lead in some form on their website.  It is much more than giving them access to search for properties.  You have to show them how you provide value, education, and experience. 

Great so you give them access to the MLS.  Now what?  Many agents have sites that do not demonstrate their value.  In the day-to-day business of REALTORS it is what you are doing that holds value.  You walk into hundreds of homes, have closed deal after deal, negotiated offers, and go through the process of selling and buying homes every day.  Your future clients need to know that and need to know how that will help them succeed.

You need to easily communicate to potential clients who you are and what you know.  In a way that makes them feel you are professional and makes them feel comfortable.  Communicate your real estate experiences, simply, clearly, and regularly.  It will result in a following who really understand you and your business.  Those followers will then feel like they have a relationship with you.
